About the course
This double degree combines computer science and law to build skills in software and information technology alongside legal research, writing and argument. You will learn to analyse technical and legal problems and apply both disciplines to modern workplace challenges shaped by rapid technological change. It is designed for flexible study online or on campus, as an undergraduate qualification spanning Computing and Law. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that sit at the intersection of technology and legal practice, including technology law and policy, privacy and cybersecurity compliance, legal technology and eDiscovery, intellectual property support, IT governance and risk, and business roles needing both computing and legal capability. The dual qualification also provides a pathway toward traditional legal practice and technology-focused roles, as an undergraduate degree in Law. Preparing graduates for software development, IT support, data analysis, and technology consultancy entry roles.
