About the course
Computational mechanics is a subdiscipline of mechanics that builds and solves complex mathematical models of physical phenomena using modern computing and intensive simulation. This specialisation extends engineering study with applications across areas such as renewable energy, biomechanics, sports engineering, defence, manufacturing and aerospace, with a focus on fluids, thermodynamics, and heat transfer within mechanical engineering at undergraduate level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
