About the course
This double degree combines a professional communications and media qualification with a broad arts education in humanities or social sciences. You learn to analyse and create print, screen and multimedia content using traditional, new and emerging media technologies while developing critical and transferable skills from your Arts studies. Complete a media major and an Arts major across four years of full-time study at Notre Dame. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across journalism, digital communication, film and screen production, photography and broader media practice, supported by Arts-based strengths in critical thinking and cultural understanding. The combination suits work in news and content production, communications and media organisations, creative industries, and related public or private sector roles.
