About the course
This double degree combines QUT’s Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with Communication majoring in Media and Communication Industries. You’ll build core legal knowledge and practical skills for modern legal practice, while developing expertise in digital media industries, audience engagement, social media management and data analytics. The course prepares you to navigate technological, cultural and regulatory change across both law and communication in an honours-level undergraduate program.

Graduates can apply legal expertise within media and communication industries, or use communication, digital and social media skills within legal contexts. Career paths may include roles in media and entertainment organisations, government and corporate communications, digital strategy, and specialist legal practice areas such as privacy, freedom of speech, litigation or criminal law.
