About the course
This double degree combines professional journalism and communication study with a full information technology degree, preparing you to create, analyse and deliver digital content across modern media platforms. You undertake both components concurrently and build capabilities in media practice, storytelling and audience insight alongside core IT knowledge and a chosen computing major. The program is designed for full-time study over four years in communication and computing. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.

Graduates are suited to roles where media and technology intersect, including journalist, digital producer, content strategist, newsroom data researcher, social and multimedia reporter, and communication specialist with strong technical literacy.
