About the course
This double degree combines communication studies in digital media with an honours-level law qualification. You’ll build skills in media and communication alongside comprehensive legal knowledge, completing core communication units and a digital media major, plus a substantial sequence of law core and elective units. Study is delivered across Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove with a structured plan for progressing through both disciplines over 5.5 years at bachelor/honours level in law and digital media.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that blend digital media expertise with legal training, including roles in media and communications organisations, government and regulation, corporate and technology-focused legal contexts, and policy or compliance settings. The law component supports pathways toward admission as a legal practitioner (subject to required post-degree training), while the digital media component adds capability for content, platform and communications work. This prepares you for bachelor/honours-level careers spanning law and digital media.
