About the course
UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce / Law is a double degree that combines a strong foundation in business with comprehensive legal training. You’ll build commercial knowledge alongside core law capabilities such as legal reasoning, analysis and advocacy, preparing you to navigate complex regulatory and business environments. The 5-year Bachelor-level programme integrates commerce and law study for careers across both disciplines. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers spanning corporate and commercial law, banking and financial services, consulting, government and regulatory roles, and in-house legal or compliance positions within businesses. The combined qualification supports pathways into legal practice (subject to admission requirements) as well as commerce-focused roles such as analyst or adviser, where legal knowledge is valuable. This Bachelor-level Commerce/Law degree prepares you for cross-disciplinary work in law and business.
