About the course
UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is a one-year program for high-performing commerce graduates seeking advanced study and research training in business. You’ll complete a supervised honours research project alongside higher-level coursework, building strong analytical and academic skills. It’s designed to deepen expertise and prepare you for research-focused or specialist career pathways in business and commerce. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue specialist and analytical roles across business and commerce, with strengths in research, critical thinking and advanced problem solving. The honours year can support pathways into consulting, finance, government and policy, corporate strategy, and research-intensive roles, and may also provide preparation for further postgraduate study. This is an Honours-level qualification in Business & Commerce. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
