About the course
The Bachelor of Commerce / Design at UNSW combines core business knowledge with design thinking and creative practice. You’ll develop commercial skills alongside capabilities in user-centred problem solving, innovation and communication, preparing you to work across business and design contexts. This double degree is delivered on campus at Kensington over four years, building an interdisciplinary foundation in Business & Commerce and design. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that bridge business and design, such as product or service designer, UX/UI and customer experience roles, brand and marketing roles, business analyst, innovation or strategy consultant, and product manager. Opportunities span consulting, technology, finance, consumer goods, start-ups and public sector teams where design-led problem solving and commercial decision-making are valued in a Bachelor-level Business & Commerce and design pathway. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
