About the course
This combined bachelor’s course lets you complete two qualifications in four years: a Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability with a defined study plan, and a Bachelor of Arts with a major chosen from a wide range of options. You’ll explore sustainability through social sciences, humanities, environmental studies and policy, while building broad critical thinking and communication skills through arts study. It’s designed for holistic, interdisciplinary problem-solving in sustainability.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles that address social and environmental challenges across government, community organisations, and business. The combined degrees build critical thinking plus quantitative and qualitative analysis, alongside strong communication skills for interdisciplinary work. Career paths can include policy and program work, community development, sustainability and corporate responsibility roles, advocacy, and communications in organisations focused on environmental and social impact.
