About the course
This combined degree lets you graduate with two qualifications in four years: a Bachelor of Environmental Science with a defined study plan, plus a Bachelor of Commerce where you choose from a wide range of majors. You’ll build in-demand environmental science capabilities alongside business and commercial skills to support decision-making and implementation of environmental policy in organisational contexts. This is an undergraduate double degree in Environmental Science and Commerce.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles that bridge environmental and business priorities across consulting, government and not-for-profit organisations. The combination of practical environmental science skills and commercial capability supports work in areas such as environmental management, regulation and sustainability strategy, as well as business functions like accounting, finance and analysis. Typical roles include environmental consultant/scientist, regulations officer, project manager, business consultant, economist or accountant.
Entry requirements
Minimum ATAR 80 (or equivalent). Prerequisites include Mathematics Methods ATAR or Mathematics Applications ATAR (with a first-year mathematics unit) and Chemistry ATAR (or an additional first-year chemistry unit).
