About the course
This honours degree prepares you to become an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, using evidence-based exercise to prevent and manage injuries, chronic disease and disability. You’ll build strong clinical assessment and prescription skills through extensive practical placements across diverse settings and client groups. Graduates can seek ESSA accreditation as both an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Accredited Exercise Scientist in this Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in clinical exercise physiology.
Career outcome
Graduates are suited to roles delivering clinical exercise interventions in hospitals, rehabilitation services, private practice, community health and disability settings. You may work with people managing cardiovascular, metabolic and cancer conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, or functional limitations, providing assessment, education and ongoing support.
