About the course
Business Management is an undergraduate major that introduces the foundations of business and organisational management. You’ll develop an understanding of how organisations operate, how people and resources are managed, and how decisions are made in dynamic business environments. The major builds core management capability and can support a range of commerce and leadership-focused study pathways at UWA in business and commerce. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
This major can lead to career opportunities across private, public and not-for-profit organisations where management capability is valued. Graduates may pursue roles such as management trainee, business analyst, operations or project coordinator, team leader, or roles in organisational development and administration. It also provides a strong base for further postgraduate study, including progression to commerce-related master’s programs in business and commerce.
