About the course

The Bachelor of Business Management (Hons) prepares students for management roles in an ever-changing business environment shaped by advanced technology and multicultural workplaces. The programme develops knowledge of business and management while integrating practical skills across marketing, human resource management, financial management, project management and strategic decision-making. It is designed to equip students with analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving tools used in modern business contexts.

What you might learn

Students will build a broad foundation in the business environment, operations management and key management theories, alongside core knowledge in accounting, finance and marketing. The programme aims to strengthen students’ ability to analyse business problems and make informed decisions using relevant tools and frameworks. It also aims to develop entrepreneurial capability and an understanding of management information systems for effective organisational management.

Career outcome

Graduates may pursue supervisory and managerial careers across a wide range of industries and business settings. The broad business curriculum supports pathways into roles involving marketing, human resources, operations, finance support, project coordination/management and general management functions. With internship experience included, students gain workplace exposure that can support entry into management-track positions in both local and international business environments.

Entry requirements

STPM / A-Levels or equivalent with a minimum of 2 principal passes.
UEC with minimum 5 credits.
Applicants who possess other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
