About the course
This honours year builds advanced analytical, theoretical and empirical capability for high-achieving business graduates specialising in accounting. You’ll deepen disciplinary knowledge, develop strong research skills, and integrate practical and conceptual learning from your prior degree. Working closely with an academic supervisor, you undertake structured coursework followed by an independent research thesis. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Accounting & Finance.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue specialist roles where advanced accounting insight and research capability are valued. Potential pathways include business analysis, risk and governance consulting, forensic accounting, financial control and project management, corporate secretariat roles, and senior finance leadership such as CFO.
