About the course
This double degree combines business studies with creative practice in visual arts, allowing you to build commercial capability alongside studio-based art skills. You complete core business units plus a chosen business major, while also undertaking fine arts studies culminating in a Visual Arts major. Study is undertaken across QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses over four years as a Bachelor-level program in business and visual arts. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that blend business expertise with visual arts practice across creative industries and commercial organisations. Outcomes may include roles in marketing, management, finance, HR or public relations, alongside pathways as a practicing visual artist or in arts-related roles such as gallery and creative project work. The double degree supports interdisciplinary careers by combining Bachelor-level business and visual arts capabilities. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
