About the course
Combine business capabilities with fashion design practice to prepare for contemporary fashion and creative industries. You’ll build business knowledge, professional communication and ethical decision-making alongside design thinking, industry practices and emerging digital technologies. The double degree supports international experience through opportunities such as exchanges and internships, and is delivered across QUT’s city and creative precinct campuses as a Bachelor Degree in business and fashion design.
Career outcome
This double degree prepares you for roles spanning fashion design and the commercial side of the industry. Graduates may work in fashion buying and merchandising, fashion marketing, fashion finance support, fashion business analysis, trend/design forecasting and fashion entrepreneurship, with opportunities in local and international brands, retail groups, consultancies and creative businesses. The course supports careers that blend creative direction with strategic and ethical business practice at Bachelor level in fashion and business.
