About the course

This double degree combines urban and regional planning with property economics to build skills in shaping sustainable cities and making informed property and investment decisions. You’ll learn to analyse land use, communities and development impacts alongside property markets, valuation and feasibility. Real-world learning and industry connections support practical experience for roles across planning and the property sector at bachelor honours level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue careers across planning and property, working with government agencies, consultancies, developers and real estate organisations. Roles may include urban or regional planner, urban designer support roles, development assessment officer, strategic planning officer, property analyst, valuation/professional property roles (subject to accreditation pathways), and development or investment advisory positions. This prepares you for professional practice in built environment and property at bachelor honours level.
