This stream broadens students’ content and pedagogical knowledge for teaching Humanities and Social Sciences, with a focus on the History teaching area. It covers approaches to teaching learners of different ages and ability levels and is completed as a set of related units within an undergraduate education degree. This is an undergraduate Education & Teaching stream within the BEd (Secondary) study pathway. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
