About the course

UQ’s Bachelor of Biotechnology combines life sciences with hands-on laboratory training and entrepreneurial skills to prepare you for a fast-evolving life sciences industry. You’ll explore applications such as antibody engineering, vaccine design, genetic plant engineering, and cell and tissue culture, with opportunities for industry placement or internship projects. This is an undergraduate Bachelor degree focused on biotechnology. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
