About the course
Study the biomedical sciences that underpin human medicine, building core knowledge in areas such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, immunology and microbiology. You can tailor your degree through majors in Medical Research and/or Medical Sciences and learn from active researchers with links to UTAS health and research institutes. This Bachelor degree in biomedicine also supports pathways to honours or further study. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
