About the course
This internationally delivered Biomedical Science course explores how cells, organs and body systems function and how this knowledge supports understanding and treatment of disease. You’ll study core biomedical disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, genetics and biochemistry, alongside biomedical ethics, with substantial hands-on laboratory experience in purpose-built facilities. It is an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree in biomedical science. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates are equipped for professional entry roles in Biomedical & Biotechnology and further postgraduate study. Graduates join research assistant, quality assurance, and industry science roles.
