About the course

This double degree combines biomedical science with an honours law qualification to build expertise across health, biotechnology and legal practice. You’ll develop laboratory and analytical skills alongside core legal knowledge such as contracts, constitutional and administrative law, equity and trusts, and legal research. The program supports practical learning and prepares you to navigate regulation, ethics and commercialisation in health-related industries at bachelor honours level.

Graduates can pursue roles where biomedical expertise intersects with legal and regulatory work. Career pathways include practising as a lawyer after meeting professional requirements, in-house counsel in hospitals or health departments, or legal roles in biotechnology and pharmaceutical organisations.
