About the course
This double degree combines accredited psychology studies with an honours-level law program, building skills in human behaviour, research methods and legal reasoning. You will complete an APAC-accredited psychology sequence alongside core law units, then focus more heavily on advanced law later in the course. Study is delivered across QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses in a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology)/Bachelor of Laws (Honours). The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue diverse pathways across legal practice and broader professional settings that value legal analysis and research skills. Potential roles include solicitor or barrister (with required further practical legal training), policy or compliance positions in government, business and community organisations, and law-related roles in private enterprise. The psychology component also supports future study toward professional psychology registration, alongside careers grounded in law through this Bachelor double degree.
