About the course
The Bachelor of Arts (Politics, Power and Technology) examines how political ideas, power and governance shape — and are shaped by — emerging technologies. You’ll explore contemporary political debates, digital power, institutions and social change, building skills in analysis, communication and critical thinking. The course supports flexible arts study while focusing on technology’s impact on public life in an Australian Bachelor degree. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where politics, policy and technology intersect, including government and public policy support, research and analysis, advocacy and community organisations, communications, and roles in digital governance and regulation. The course builds transferable skills for work across the public sector, NGOs and private organisations managing technology-related social and political issues, grounded in an Arts and Humanities Bachelor degree. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
