About the course
This honours arts degree explores Western civilisation through influential texts and ideas, while developing a global perspective through an International Relations major. You’ll build critical reading, writing and analytical skills and connect humanities study with contemporary international issues, leadership and civic responsibility. The Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation (Honours) (International Relations) is a three-year undergraduate honours program in Arts & Humanities.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across government and policy, diplomacy and international organisations, journalism and publishing, community and social services, cultural and heritage sectors, and education. The degree also supports pathways into consultancy, business administration, marketing, and further postgraduate study by strengthening research, communication and analysis skills. This is an undergraduate honours qualification in Arts & Humanities with an International Relations focus.
