About the course
This honours arts degree in Western Civilisation (History) develops your understanding of influential ideas, texts and events that shaped the Western tradition, while building critical reading, writing and research skills. You study historical thinking alongside broader humanities perspectives, preparing you to analyse contemporary issues with depth and context. This is an undergraduate Honours programme in Arts & Humanities. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
