About the course
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) is a one-year capstone program that builds advanced research capability and prepares you for postgraduate study. You’ll undertake seminar-based classes and complete an independent research project culminating in a short thesis under expert academic supervision. Depending on your discipline, you may be able to pursue joint or double honours. This is an Honours year in Arts and Humanities. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
This honours year can strengthen pathways into postgraduate study and research-focused roles by developing advanced analysis, academic writing and independent project skills through a supervised thesis. Graduates may pursue careers where research and critical thinking are valued, including cultural and policy organisations, government, education support, publishing, museums and research administration.
