About the course
WAAPA’s Bachelor of Arts (Acting) is a rigorous three-year conservatoire program focused on developing the contemporary, self-determined actor. You’ll train full-time in a studio-based environment integrating acting, voice and movement for theatre and screen, guided by a philosophy of discovery and embodiment. Industry-style productions and visiting artists help simulate professional practice. This is an undergraduate performing arts degree at ECU. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for professional acting careers across theatre, television and film in Australia and internationally. The course develops resilient, confident performers through intensive studio practice, collaborative productions and exposure to visiting industry artists. Career pathways commonly include actor/performer roles for stage and screen, as well as related work in production environments that value strong voice, movement and ensemble skills.
