About the course
This combined bachelor’s degree lets you graduate with two qualifications in four years: Art History and Curatorial Studies plus Commerce. You’ll build art-historical knowledge and curatorial practice skills through hands-on learning, placements and object-based study, while also developing business capabilities and a chosen commerce major. The program integrates art management with core commerce skills for broader career flexibility at bachelor level in arts and business. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across the visual arts market and cultural institutions, supported by commerce expertise. Pathways include work with galleries and museums, auction houses, private collectors and art fairs, as well as roles that connect cultural knowledge with business decision-making and regulation around artworks. Typical outcomes include art dealer, auction house manager and art investment advisor, enabled by a combined bachelor qualification spanning arts and commerce. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
