About the course
The Australian Maritime College’s Bachelor of Applied Science (Marine Engineering) prepares you for marine engineering roles at sea and across the maritime industry. You’ll build knowledge of shipboard marine engineering systems, vessel operations and management, marine legislation and survey, and safety. The course is aligned with professional short courses and includes practical sea-going training. Graduates may be eligible for an AMSA Certificate of Competency (subject to requirements) in marine engineering.
