About the course
This honours degree develops a systems-focused approach to designing, operating and improving complex aerospace technologies for the aeronautical and defence sectors. You’ll build capability across aircraft subsystems and integrated platforms, with professional practice and a final-year research project to strengthen job-ready skills. It is an undergraduate Bachelor (Honours) in aerospace systems engineering. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can work in airlines, aircraft design and manufacturing, airworthiness organisations and defence. Typical work includes aircraft and systems design, testing, performance monitoring, maintenance and upgrades, plus safety, certification and regulatory roles.
