About the course

UniSQ’s Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Laws is a double degree designed to build expertise across financial and legal practice while finishing faster than completing both degrees separately. You’ll study diverse law topics, legal reasoning and research, alongside accounting skills in financial and management accounting, auditing, taxation, IT and ethics. Learning includes a law capstone, practical experiences and opportunities to work with industry-connected projects in accounting and law at bachelor level.

To graduate from the Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Laws, you must successfully complete 40 units of study.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue varied pathways combining law and accounting, depending on electives and major choices. Law-related roles may include solicitor or barrister (with further practical legal training), corporate counsel, government roles, and in-house legal positions. Accounting-related careers include qualified accountant, financial or management accountant, auditor, business advisor, forensic accountant and tax advisor.
