About the course
This associate degree blends practical fashion skills with business knowledge to build a strong foundation for work across the fashion industry. You’ll develop technical capability alongside an understanding of how fashion products are planned, made and brought to market. The course is delivered on campus at RMIT’s Brunswick location. This is an Associate Degree in fashion within Design & Visual Art. The programme trains digital design tools, visual production, and portfolio development for creative workplaces.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across fashion design, production and retail operations, applying practical making skills and industry awareness. Career paths may include fashion designer, patternmaker, dressmaker or tailor, as well as buying, merchandising and planning roles such as retail buyer, merchandise planner or fashion retail manager.
