About the course
The Associate Degree in Applied Science provides a practical pathway into laboratory and science-based work, or into further university study. You’ll build foundational knowledge across applied science areas aligned to biotechnology, biomedical and food science, supported by hands-on learning. The program is designed to develop skills for technical roles and for progression to degree-level study in the sciences at associate degree level. The programme develops laboratory safety, sample handling, and basic analytical techniques for technical roles.
