What is a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies)?

A CAS letter is an electronic document issued by the university in support of your application for a UK student visa. It is issued after you have accepted an offer and paid the deposit to secure your place in a course. The CAS contains information such as your personal details, course start and end date, a unique CAS number and others. Without a CAS, you will be unable to apply for a student Visa.
