What documents do I need to apply for Australian student Visa?

The more complete documents you provide, the sooner you may get an assessment outcome of your student Visa application. The documents required can also vary according to your nationality.

List of required documents (for most nationalities):

1. Passport biodata page
2. eCOE letter(s)
3. If the student is Under 18, Form 1229, student’s original and English translated birth certificate and both parents’ passports are required. Furthermore, proof of guardianship and welfare arrangements must be provided prior to Visa application.

List of potential additional documents:

1. Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) written statement
2. Proof of financial capacity (must prepare sufficient funds months in advance)
3. Academic transcripts & English proficiency tests results
