How to make an international transaction to university?

International Transaction

There are many ways to make a payment to universities such as TT (Telegraphic Transfer), bank draft, direct bank transfer (for foreign currency bank account, you can manage this online) and credit card (some institutions process online payment).

Telegraphic transfer is the most preferable mode of transaction in most institutions. It requires you to go to your local bank in the country with the university account details, complete a telegraphic transfer form and the bank teller will help you through the process.

Please take note that banks may have additional charges for administration fees and bank handling fees and the exchange rates may differ.

With technology, you can save time and get all done with just a click! Online foreign bank transfer can be performed via the bank websites. There will be no administration fees and less currency exchange risk. The transaction will process in around 3-5 working days. The process is the same if you wanted to transfer money overseas or someone from home wanted to transfer money to your overseas account.

NOTE: Keep the confirmation of transaction to provide proof of payment to your university.
