For Bachelor or Masters programs, you should be applying about 1-3 months before course commencement so as to leave time for visa application, accommodation and flight arrangements.
For pathway programs, there is a lower turnaround time as the offers can be issued fairly quickly. Furthermore, the application and assessment process is significantly shorter.
If you are applying through CommonApp, the assessment will take between 3-6 months.
