- OSHC also pay limited benefits for pharmaceuticals and ambulance services
Is it compulsory to have OSHC coverage?
- It is a mandatory requirement by the Australian Government’s Department of Immigration and Citizenship for all student visa holders to maintain OSHC during their stay in Australia
How long is the OSHC coverage duration?
- The OSHC must cover the entire duration of the student’s course, including the few months to cover graduation. If the student needs to extend their studies, then the OSHC must also be extended accordingly
