#AUG Teacherku 5.0

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: “#AUGTeacherKu5.0 – TeacherKu, InspirasiKu” contest (“the Contest”) is organized by AusEd Consultants Services Sdn Bhd, hereby known as the “Organiser”. The Organiser may, at its sole and absolute discretion, amend these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice to any party. This is a Malaysia nationwide competition.

Duration

Nomination Period:            17^th April 2023, 11.00am till 12^th May 2023 by 11.59pm

Online Voting Period:         25^th May 2023, 11.00am till 1^st June 2023 by 5pm

Objective

On this Teacher’s Day, let’s celebrate the amazing Teachers who go above and beyond to inspire their students. Teachers who don’t just tell or explain, but demonstrate and inspire. Teachers who ignite a love for learning and encourage their students to reach for their dreams. Teachers who change lives.

Join our #Teacherku5.0 campaign and help us shine a light on the incredible work of inspiring Teachers everywhere. Remember, “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”

Contest Mechanics

1. Student (13 to 18 years old) to nominate a school teacher/counsellor with a story on “My teacher is my major source of inspiration because__________” with no more than 100 words using the “Teacherku Nomination Form”. Return the form to the Organiser through their school or submit their entry through the Organiser’s website (https://augstudy.com/malaysia/augteacherku/). Each student can only submit one nomination.
2. Students can nominate their teachers online or physically, along with a photo or video of their nominated teacher.

• Online submission – Photo/video can be submitted through the Organiser’s website.
• Physical submission –TeacherKu Nomination Form is to be submitted to the teacher’s respective school. The photo/video is to be submitted via a Direct Message to AUG Malaysia Facebook page or Instagram account. Kindly provide the student’s and teacher’s full name with the school’s name when submitting the photo/video.

2.1. Photo submission file size MUST be less than 2MB.

2.2. Video submission file size MUST be less than 10MB and no longer than 60 seconds.

2.3. Only one photo or video per nomination. The photo/video must be an original creation and observe all copyright rules and regulations. Postings and contents that are deemed culturally sensitive and inappropriate would be voided by The Organizer.

3. Thirty (30) Finalists (nominated teachers) will be selected based on the most heart-warming story submitted while meeting the criteria mentioned above. The 30 nominated school teachers will then be required to provide a photo, via the student, school or individually. Nomination will be invalid if photo is not provided. The 30 nominated teachers will be announced and posted on the Organiser’s Instagram Page (https://www.instagram.com/augmalaysia/) for online voting on the 25^th May 2023 onwards.
4. The Organiser reserves the right and absolute discretion to reject any finalist deemed as direct or implicit involvement in unethical Instagram “likes” buying, without having to assign any reasons whatsoever.

Prizes & Terms

1. Top 10 Finalists with most Instagram likes: Top 10 Finalists (nominated teachers) will each receive a Mi Robot Vacuum or of equivalent value.
2. Consolation Prizes: 20 Finalist teachers will each receive a POPULAR Bookstore Voucher worth RM500.
3. Top 10 Schools with most entry submissions (Forms must be fully completed to be counted as an entry) will each receive a SAMSUNG smart tablet or of equivalent value.
4. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable in any other form for any reasons. Contest winner shall collect the prize personally.
5. The winner shall be responsible for all costs in connection with the redemption, collection, delivery, and/or perfection of his/her prize.
6. The decision of the Organiser is final. No enquiries, verbal or written, shall be entertained.
7. By submitting the Contest Entry, the Contestant shall be deemed to have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Contest.
8. The Organiser and its partner reserves the right to use any photographs motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Contest (including those of Participants), for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors anywhere in the world without any notification and/or payment to the Participants.
9. The contestant agrees and provides consent to the Organiser for the use of any personal data as provided by the contestant for the purpose of participation in this Contest in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and other applicable laws, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by the Organiser for lawful purpose directly related to the business operations, including but not limited to the purposes of promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organizing of this Contest.

Winner Announcement

The Organiser will announce the winner via the Organizer’s Instagram Page on 2^nd June 2023 and the Organiser will communicate with the winner regarding prize collection via the school that the teacher (winner) is attached with.
