About the course
The postgraduate food sciences program provides foundation and advanced studies in the disciplines of food chemistry, processing, sensory, safety and microbiology.
What you will learn
Advanced levels of knowledge and skill in those disciplines are developed through a combination of core and elective subjects such as food policy and governance, food management, food technology, bioprocessing, nutrition and sustainability.
Career outcome
Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as food technologist , nutritionist, product/process development scientist, quality manager, food and beverage supervisor, dietitian and etc. in companies including The Coca-Cola Company, Cargill, Boar's Head Provision Company, Perfection Bakeries, Inc., Amcor and etc.
