Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) is the 6th largest university in the UK, with over 30,000 students. In the University's mission, SHU aims to shape their students' futures, preparing them for whatever they choose to do, and create knowledge that provides practical solutions to real world challenges.

The University prides itself on its health and social care courses, teacher training, and sport and physical activity. It offers over 700 courses for students to choose from, with more than half its courses including an integrated work placement. Career advisers are allocated for each and every course at SHU to ensure students' employability by the end of their degree.
