About the course
The postgraduate engineering - civil program provides foundation and advanced studies in the disciplines of infrastructure planning and management, environmental protection, structual, geotechnical, hydraulic and transportation engineering.
What you will learn
Advanced levels of knowledge and skill in those disciplines are developed through a combination of core and elective subjects such as earthquake resistant design, urban design, stability of earth structures, extreme loading, high rise structures, waste conversion, concrete, quality system design and risk analysis.
Career outcome
Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as structural engineer, civil engineer, civil engineering technician, sustainability consultant, quantity surveyor, construction manager and etc. in companies including Laing O'Rourke, Royal BAM Group, Kiewit, Bouygues Construction, Balfour Beatty and etc.
