About The Republic of Ireland

The Republic of Ireland has a colourful heritage in education, historically known as the “Island of the Saints and Scholars”. Education is highly regarded in Ireland, this is evident in their commitment to providing top class education and therefore producing some of the world’s most employable graduates.

Ireland provides a lively, safe and secure environment to study and live in. The climate is also temperate, rarely ever snowing nor reaching below freezing temperatures. Irish people also have a good reputation of being some of the friendliest people in the world. Fitting in to Ireland’s environment will be a breeze.

Studying in Ireland does not require a student visa, their master’s degree programs are only one year long, you are able to work part-time up to 20 hours per week while you study (earning a cool 8-9 Euro per hour) and there’s the opportunity for post-study work. What more could you want?

Ed Sheeran loves Ireland and its culture so much, he wrote a song about it (heard of Galway Girl?). From Ireland’s characteristic traditional folk music to the many, many traditional Irish pubs scattered around, it’s easy to lose yourself in such a cheerful and colourful culture. Maybe you’ll love it so much to write a hit song about Ireland too?
