The Graduate Diploma in Music (Ethnomusicology) is a one-year program for graduates from any discipline who want to undertake graduate-level study in music. It supports students to develop an ethnomusicology dissertation through focused seminars and the subject The Ethnography of Music, exploring key historical and contemporary issues in the field. Students also select from academic and non-Western ensemble electives aligned with their research interests, and the qualification can provide a pathway to further masters study in Music.
