Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts provides immersive and rigorous, conservatoire-style preparation for the 21st century performer and theatre maker. It focuses on developing students as creative and collaborative artists, training them to become accomplished performers and highly skilled devisors of original work. The honours specialisation offers an advanced fourth year with a strong practice-based research focus.

Entry requirements
The course provides an opportunity for graduates from the VCA’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting), Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre) and theatre graduates of other institutions to develop their potential for practice-based research and deepen their knowledge and practice as an actor, artist, collaborator and theatre maker through a specialised and advanced fourth year of study.
