The Bachelor of Music at ANU develops musical artistry at the intersection of performance, composition and recording. Graduates are prepared for varied music industry pathways spanning performance, composition, songwriting and contemporary production/recording. The program’s emphasis on entrepreneurship and broad musicianship supports freelance and portfolio careers, as well as further study and professional development in music-related fields.
Entry requirements
Applicants must meet ANU program-specific academic and any non-academic requirements plus English language requirements. Entry is competitive and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Indicative minimum admission scores shown are ATAR 80 (or equivalent) and IB 30. Assessment may be based on recent secondary studies, higher education study, VET qualifications (AQF level 5+), or work and life experience pathways, as applicable.
