Mining Engineering is an undergraduate major focused on safely and efficiently extracting minerals from underground and open-pit mines. You’ll explore emerging mining technologies such as robotics, data analytics and machine learning, alongside mining economics, sustainable development and working with Indigenous cultures. The major is designed to support a transition into the global resources sector within a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) pathway. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
