ACU’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) immerses you in a supportive research culture in the National School of Arts and Humanities. You undertake an independent research thesis or a creative project with exegesis/dissertation, building advanced analytical and research capability. The program can include industry engagement and opportunities such as internships or field trips, strengthening pathways into further research study. This is a one-year honours qualification in arts and humanities.

Graduates may pursue roles across creative industries, government and the public sector, education, and the non-profit community sector. The honours year strengthens research, writing and critical analysis skills suited to research assistant and policy-related work, as well as preparation for higher degree research pathways.
